Windows (thread-safe, pre-compiled, no php.ini):
PHP 5.2.7RC4: 9.824

Linux (self-compiled, no php.ini):
PHP 5.2.7RC4: 9.791

Good job, 153 fixed problems in 7 months, I can’t wait for the final release!

Well, it is interesting to know that the existence of a PDO license does not set any new precedent because
today PHP is already comprised of code under a variety of different
licenses in addition to the PHP license.

Thanks to Garrett Serrack for having figured out the problem. The new snapshot box was using VC6 Standard Edition while the old one was using the Enterprise Edition.

As they both mention the same version ID and “optimzer enabled”, the standard edition obviously does not optimize.

The next snapshots will have the optimized builds (as well as the next RC).

Confirmed, there is something different in the new build box but I do not what (yet). We have the same compiler version, sdk, bison re2c or flex.

We are working on the issue.
